Issue Description

If a customer has sold a vehicle during the current year and asks whether the vehicle will still be included in the Annual Report after the Monitoring Report subscription has been ended due to the ownership change.

Example customer questions:

• "I sold my vehicle. Will it still appear in the Annual Report?"
• "Will a vehicle remain in the Monitoring Report after ownership has changed?"

Root Cause / Explanation:

The Monitoring Report is generated based on vehicle data collected during the selected reporting period. If a vehicle has transmitted data at least once during the queried period, it will appear in the report for that period, even if it was sold later or the Monitoring Report subscription has been terminated.

Resolution / Workaround

No action is required.

The vehicle will remain visible in the Annual Report for any reporting period in which it transmitted data, even if:

• The vehicle was sold during the year.
• The Monitoring Report subscription was ended after the sale.
• The customer is no longer the current owner.

The vehicle will not appear in reporting periods where it did not transmit any data.

Step-by-Step Instructions (troubleshooting)

1. Confirm the reporting period the customer is referring to.
2. Verify that the vehicle transmitted data during that reporting period.
3. Explain that the Annual Report includes all vehicles that have sent data during the selected period.
4. Inform the customer that selling the vehicle or ending the Monitoring Report subscription does not remove historical data from the Monitoring Report.
5. If the vehicle is missing despite having transmitted data during the selected period, proceed with escalation to back office team Monitor report

Escalation 

• If the vehicle transmitted data during the selected reporting period but does not appear in the Monitoring Report.
• Historical report data appears to be missing or incomplete.
• The report content is inconsistent with the available vehicle data.

• Vehicle VIN
• Customer account
• Reporting period
• Date of ownership change (if known)
• Description of the issue
• Screenshots (if available)
