When handling customer inquiries related to fuel consumption, Monitoring Reports, emissions, or vehicle performance, CSAs may need to identify the vehicle's fuel type.

The fuel type can be verified directly in SPII through CSTT.

Step-by-Step Instructions on how to see fuel type.

Open the vehicle in CSTT.
Click SPII under External Links.
Open the Product Information tab. Expand Technical Information.
Open 03 - Fuel And Exhaust Systems.
Locate the field Fuel.

Escalation

Escalate to the Technical Support Team if:

The fuel information is missing in SPII.
SPII cannot be accessed.
The fuel type shown in SPII appears incorrect.
Further technical investigation is required regarding vehicle specifications.
